Sunday Reflections

After a great walk this morning around my work complex I decided to take the entire day for me and gas up the car and drive down to the coast. Growing up we always spent a weekend or longer down at Pensacola Beach when my relatives from Oklahoma came down during my younger years. As I didn't want to drive all the way to Pensacola, Bald Point and Alligator Point was just fine.

I don't know what it is but as soon as you smell that salty air every problem you have justs melts away...and as soon as I put my feet in the was heaven. I completely forgot about every single crappy thing that was going on work...all the money was a total reset.

Now I'm sitting at home after a great lunch, watching some FSU baseball and a great nap. I think I'm ready to tackle work...and everything else. I'm thinking I'll be doing this more often.

My only wish was K could have shared this with me...maybe sometime soon. I love you.

Peace, Love and Thick Blankets!!

I know it's a little late.. but I am with you on the salty air washing everything away. As much as you say you don't like country music - But Kenny Chesney sums it up "Somehow the salty air just soothes her soul.. says it makes her whole"
