Sunday Reflections

Hello.

After a great walk this morning around my work complex I decided to take the entire day for me and gas up the car and drive down to the coast. Growing up we always spent a weekend or longer down at Pensacola Beach when my relatives from Oklahoma came down during my younger years. As I didn't want to drive all the way to Pensacola, Bald Point and Alligator Point was just fine.

I don't know what it is but as soon as you smell that salty air every problem you have justs melts away...and as soon as I put my feet in the Gulf...it was heaven. I completely forgot about every single crappy thing that was going on work...all the money issues...it was a total reset.

Now I'm sitting at home after a great lunch, watching some FSU baseball and a great nap. I think I'm ready to tackle work...and everything else. I'm thinking I'll be doing this more often.

My only wish was K could have shared this with me...maybe sometime soon. I love you.

Peace, Love and Thick Blankets!!

I know it's a little late.. but I am with you on the salty air washing everything away. As much as you say you don't like country music - But Kenny Chesney sums it up "Somehow the salty air just soothes her soul.. says it makes her whole"

Nice story as for me. It would be great to read something more about that theme.
